voter education in all regions of Tanzania mainland for the Local Government Elections of 2019

On 25th September 2019 Mtanzania Foundation was accredited by the PO-RALG (President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government) with a reference No. CCB.126/215/01F/140 to provide voter education in all regions of Tanzania mainland for the Local Government Elections of 2019. On the other note on the same date the foundation was also accredited with Ref. CCB.126/215/01F/151 to conduct Local Government Election Observation in 2019.

On June 27, 2020 Mtanzania Foundation was accredited by the NEC (National Electro Commission) to provide voters education in twenty (20) regions of Tanzania mainland for the General Elections of October 28, 2020. On the other note on the same date the Institution was also accredited to conduct General Election Observation in 2020.

But, since its inauguration 2018, and registration, MTANZANIA FOUNDATION has been participating in several issues in the community. Such issues are 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence to eliminate violence against Women and Girls.

Other Projects

Also, the community awareness creation and engagement activities are as follows;

Addressing myth and misconception related to COVID-19 including vaccine among community people including truck drivers.

Linking community people to the ongoing vaccine programme and other COVID-19 related services of the MoHCDEC.

Assessing the output/effectiveness of the tree interventions.

Proposing/recommending the best community engagement model/approach based on the lessons learned from the intervention.
